10/20/2022

On October 9, 2022, the sales and technical teams of Suzuki Marine Vietnam mobilized customers and local residents in the Cua Dai Beach area, Hoi An, to participate in a beach clean-up activity in support of the “Suzuki Clean Ocean Project.”
1. “Suzuki Clean the Ocean” Campaign
As of 2020, the campaign has been carried out across all five continents—Asia, Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Australia—with participation from 29 countries and the support of more than 8,000 volunteers worldwide.
2. Reduction of Plastic Packaging
Since September 2020, certain Suzuki spare parts have been packaged using paper-based materials instead of plastic, resulting in an estimated reduction of approximately 2.3 tons of plastic waste per year.
Suzuki will continue to make every effort to further reduce the use of plastic in product packaging in the future.
3. Collection of Microplastic Waste
Suzuki Marine believes that the microplastic collection device currently under development can be a viable solution to marine plastic pollution.
This technology enables outboard motors to collect microplastics without affecting engine performance or causing harm to the environment.

As a global brand, Suzuki Marine is consistently committed to delivering the best marine experience. With the aspiration of a cleaner and healthier marine environment, since 2010 we have voluntarily carried out the “Clean Ocean Project” annually on a global scale, contributing to the protection and improvement of the marine ecosystem.
