Supply of Thordon Propeller Shaft Bearing System for Vietnam's largest 65,000 DWT vessel – TRUONG MINH 01

Hai Phong City – On the afternoon of May 11, Nam Trieu Shipbuilding One Member Limited Liability Company (NASICO) successfully launched the Truong Minh Dream 01, the first 65,000 DWT bulk carrier, and simultaneously held the keel-laying ceremony for the second vessel of the same large-capacity bulk carrier series.

The Truong Minh Dream 01 has a deadweight tonnage of 65,000 tons, an overall length of 199.99 meters, a beam of 32.26 meters, and a gross tonnage of up to 35,823 GT. The vessel was designed by a joint venture between Vietnam Shipbuilding Engineering Joint Stock Company (VISEC) and Blutech (Finland), featuring many outstanding characteristics compared to similar vessels worldwide.

Notably, this is a true “Made by Vietnam” product, as all stages of construction were carried out by the skilled engineers and workers of Nam Trieu Shipbuilding Company, together with domestic contractors.
