A pair of Suzuki Outboard 150HP engines has just been successfully installed by the Suzuki Marine technical team for a Hoa Phat vessel. The Suzuki Outboard Inline V4 model DF150A is built on a 4-cylinder DOHC engine with a displacement of 2,867 cm³ (174.9 cu.in). It is equipped with Lean Burn technology to maximize fuel efficiency, along with a compression ratio of 10.2:1 to enhance overall performance.

In conventional engines, a larger displacement typically generates higher torque, resulting in stronger acceleration, but this also requires a larger and heavier engine. The DF150A, however, stands out by achieving the goal of being the lightest and most compact 4-stroke 150 horsepower engine in its class.
