Hutchinson and HRC Partner to Strengthen Aerospace MRO for Composite Components

Hutchinson and HRC have signed a strategic cooperation agreement, concluded in Changshu on June 4, to expand in aerospace maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for composite components.

The collaboration combines Hutchinson's end-to-end expertise — from design and serial production to aftermarket services — with HRC's composite R&D and production capabilities. Together they aim to meet growing demand for maintenance services while strengthening supply chain resilience.

The partnership initially targets China's domestic market, focusing on composite aircraft parts including radomes, flight control surfaces, and panels. Both companies commit to an innovation-driven collaboration supporting sustainable development in global aviation, pairing Hutchinson's lifecycle expertise and maintenance network across Europe, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific with HRC's role as a carbon fiber partner to over 100 automotive and aviation manufacturers worldwide.
